"The Rook" originated from the owners last name! Additionally, rooks are a type of crow that have historically been symbols of transparency, strength, resilience, thoughts, and memories. These are some of the same tokens we hope to relay to our clients through our work!

Kayla opened this salon after working in the hair industry for 6 years at one of the top salons in the city. It is her hope to relay the same excellence she has experienced in those years within her own space! While vibrant fashion colors and blonding are her passions, she enjoys any service she can perform for people to make them feel happier and prouder of themselves. Her entire motivation behind entering the beauty industry was a desire to form close relationships with people and have the direct, hands-on effect of improving peoples lives through art. She recognizes the necessity of fully immersive, luxury self care experiences, which is why she focuses upon providing the exact, unique environment each client desires! Whether it is a shoulder to cry on through hard times, a friend to laugh with, or a quiet, limited-contact, sensory friendly visit, you can be assured she can accommodate any needs you may have!
